Reinforcements for the IVth Legion: an Iron Warriors Contemptor Dreadnought



Ferrox the Unyielding: a Contemptor Class Dreadnought

With the 31st Grand Company of the IVth Legion struggling to avoid being repelled from the Spear of Konor, new tactics are called for.  Enter Ferrox the Unyielding, a Contemptor Dreadnought and hero of the Valax Campaign.  For three days and nights Sergeant Ferrox single handedly repelled a succession of ork attacks on an Iron Warriors' dugout that comprised part of the defences for the mining facility at Themillor. Undeterred by the loss of his entire unit, Ferrox shrugged off wounds that would normally have incapacitated even an Astartes, until reinforcements arrived.  Having suffered wounds beyond the skills of the Legion's apothecaries, Sergeant Ferrox was interred as a Contemptor Class Dreadnought, and has since distinguished himself in several campaigns, becoming a living legend.

Ferrox is equipped with a power claw with built-in plasma blaster and a Kheres Pattern Assault Cannon

It is always a joy to paint a Contemptor Dreadnought, and this Iron Warriors one was no different
