The Imperial Fists hold on to claim an unlikely victory

The bitter rivalry between the Imperial Fists and the Iron Warriors continues as fiercely as ever.  Their most recent skirmish began much like every previous one, with the IVth Legion's artillery and tanks inflicting punishing damage on the Imperial Fists' heavy guns.  And, as before, their terrax-pattern termite arrived unannounced behind the VIIth Legion's front lines, unleashing a squad of Legion veterans, using their combi-meltas to devastating effect.

Nevertheless, the Imperial Fists Leviathan Dreadnought did succeed in getting into range of the IVth Legion's Siege Tyrants and unleashed a phosphex barrage that ripped through their numbers.  The Imperial Fists' Tartaros terminators erupted from their Spartan to finish off the Siege Tyrants.  However, the victory still appeared to be the Iron Warriors' once their Sicaran Arcus had finished off the Leviathan.  However, the terminators impossibly withstood hail after hail of fire to neutralise the Arcus as well as the IVth Legion's quad mortars and seize the victory.
