Aurox the Unforgiving is called up to the frontline

The 31st Grand Company's two Contemptor Dreadnoughts, Aurox the Unforgiving and Ferrox the Unyielding |
In the narrow confines of the corridors of the
Spear of Konor, there are very few simple firefights, with most confrontations quickly descending into desperate hand-to-hand fighting. It has been the Suzerain Invictarri and their deadly Legatine axes, as well as the Contemptor Dreadnoughts with their power fists and claws that have proved the most deadly adversaries. Cataphractii terminators, unable to fire overwatch, have looked slow and cumbersome and have been easily outmanoeuvred. With the battle not going as the Iron Warriors had expected, they have decided to pull a second Contemptor Dreadnought out of stasis,
Aurox the Unforgiving. Together the dreadnoughts Ferrox and Aurox have distinguished themselves in a score of campaigns, and wherever they appear together, slaughter follows in their wake. For this reason they are often referred to as "The Brothers", although they are brothers in arms only, and their presence considered an auspicious omen.

Painting the second Iron Warriors' Contemptor Dreadnought was as rewarding as the first. |

Although tactical dreadnought armour is carefully maintained, it inevitably accumulates
corrosion and dirt over the centuries |
